The Media and Entertainment Analysts of New York (MEANY) was established in 1980 as an offshoot of the N.Y. Society of Security Analysts. MEANY’s primary function is to set up meetings between media company managements, analysts and investors. Each year MEANY typically sets up meetings with newspaper and advertising company managements, as well as hosting a panel discussion about the future of the TV industry. These meetings are typically held in New York City.

In addition, MEANY hosts meetings with cable companies at The National Cable Show each year. In 2016, these meetings will be held May 17th in the Boston Convention Center (during the INTX conference). Joining MEANY entitles you to all meetings, free of charge, for one year.
